AccreditationsLabstat believes that Laboratory accreditation is of primary importance as an on-going, objective, assessment of our capability and commitment to produce quality data.
We are also accredited for 93 test methods registered with the Standards Council of Canada. Our “Scope of Accreditation” is available on-line at the Standards Council of Canada website. We are committed to on-going evaluations and expansion of our Scope of Accreditation to ensure we are best serving our clients requirements for demonstrating proof of analytical excellence in tobacco testing. Our services are used by Canadian and worldwide interests. In accordance with Canadian Tobacco Reporting regulations, Labstat is accredited to conduct all tobacco analyses for formal reporting to the Canadian federal and provincial authorities. Our scope is not limited to the Canadian market; we have clients in all parts of the world with varying needs and regulatory requirements. Standards Council of Canada is a signatory of the global Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) referred to as ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation); hence, data produced by Labstat has official recognition throughout the world.
