Labstat has invested in the technologies required to produce reliable, accurate and defensible data within practical timelines. Further, we have invested in throughput capacity to respond to the increased demand for tobacco-related analyses and continuity of service in the case of equipment breakdown.
Labstat operates 16 smoking machines for generating mainstream, sidestream and environmental tobacco smoke:
- 6 linear smoking machines
- 6 rotary smoking machines
- 3 single port smoking machines
All smoking machines operate within our controlled environment rooms under either ISO or FTC conditions.

- 13 Gas Chromatographs equipped with varying detectors including: FID, TSD, ECD, and TEA
- 10 HPLC systems including all commonly used detectors (conductivity, ultraviolet, flourescent etc.)
